YOUR COACH OF THE NORTH

Fitness is a journey, welcome to the Front Line.  All my life, fitness has been a challenge.  I have been very fortunate over the past 11 years in the Fitness Industry to explore exercise in all its forms.  Starting my own fitness journey as a queer-identifying person who struggles with body dysmorphia: someone who has lived experiences of being overweight & underweight, and someone whom has been recovering from some serious physical and mental health experiences living with HIV; my solution was simple.

5 Simple Pieces to the Best Life Lived:

- Be Active All Day Everyday

- Eat Balanced Healthy Meals

- Manage Stress in Mindfulness

- Get a Full-Charged Sleep

- Maintain a Consistent Sex Life

From experiences I've managed on many fitness journeys, it is my commitment to my clients that we get everything on the journey started on Day One.  As your Personal Trainer and Life Coach, I will start your next journey through a comprehensive plan on a multi-year perspective, assessing from day one to determine strengths and opportunities, and consistent programming to help you achieve beyond your goals.  I will hold you responsible and accountable to your goals and ensure that we maximize every workout to your true potential.  Let's push past your personal limits, break the wheels of complacency and get you moving onward in your journey.

Born in Tilbury, Ontario; I grew up in a Southern Ontario, rural conservative-minded community.  I have been a part of numerous community organizations from a young age (starting with the United Way at age 12); with a strong message of creating a connected, educated and safe community.

Living in a rural municipality, I learned a lot about the importance of organizations that help everyone: without discrimination, or judgment.  At a young age, I was a part of several election campaigns and not for profit organizations back home, and grew a very important understanding around  the importance of being a part of the political processes, and how important it is to just get things done to serve the community.

Growing further in Kitchener and Waterloo as a Business Management student, I experienced true tests with discrimination and a lack of acceptance in my own coming out story.  Overcoming an abusive relationship at a young age, I regained confidence and control of my life through perseverance, moving quickly into leadership roles in my careers at a young age.

Transitioning into the fitness industry at age 24; I served as a member of the Chatham-Kent Gay Pride Association, introducing one of the first of many future Pride events in his hometown.  He was the first person to speak out to the City Council, reaching out on behalf of Pride in Chatham; and advocated for funding from the city to support LGBTQ+ events.

Moving onward to over a decade of service in the health and wellness industry, I have learned as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor how to rise to the challenge of the importance and need for Health and Wellness, here in Hamilton.  I have been a direct impact in changing many lives here, and opening peoples minds up through my coaching methods to see past their personal restrictions, and grow into becoming their best selves.

Moving forward, I am working on several projects around diversity, equity, accessibility and community.  These are my commitments to the communities that I live and work in and call home.
